Taiwanese Kings recorded a loss against Hong Kong South China on Tuesday night. Kings were rolled over by South China 103-82. South China outrebounded Kings 41-26 including 28 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Croatian swingman Dominic Gilbert (198-1996, college: UBC, agency: Players Group) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists. Cameroonian forward Rodrigue Andela (203-1999, college: Oregon St.) chipped in 22 points and 13 rebounds. American forward Jordan Tolbert (200-1992, college: SMU) produced a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds for South China. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. South China are looking forward to face Pilots in Taoyuan in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Kings will play at home against Pilots and are hoping to win this game.

Broncos' coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American forward Kyvon Davenport (203-1997, college: Memphis, agency: BIG) replied with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists for South China. Broncos will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. South China will play on the road against Pilots in Taoyuan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Pilots managed to escape with a 3-point win 79-76 on Thursday evening. Will Artino had a double-double by scoring 22 points, 15 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners. Pilots' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Dominic Gilbert responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. Pilots will meet Kings in the next round. South China will play again against Pilots in Taoyuan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
